PBC Launches Payments Directory For Cannabis Industry: Here’s How It Works

PBC Conference, A B2B conference for payments, banking, and compliance in the cannabis industry, has been dedicated to bringing together financial institutions, CRBs, government, and partners since 2018. The goal is to foster connections and promote growth within the industry.

Now, PBC has announced the release of its Payments Directory, which is the third of the three core PBC Pillars: Payments, Banking, & Compliance. With plans to build out the Ecosystem even further, PBC will be publishing additional directories and industry-specific reports in the future.

The Payments Directory features the following categories:

  • Payment Processors: companies that allow cannabis operators to process non-cash payments.
  • Point of Sale (POS) & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions: POS companies offer a system that combines payment processing with compliance and inventory management. ERP companies, on the other hand, provide an integrated solution for managing internal business processes such as accounting , compliance, and inventory. Due to the close relationship between the two, both POS and ERP solutions are listed together in the same category.

Submissions to be included in the directory close on February 17th. PBC holds the final decision-making authority over which companies will be listed in the directory.
