Markets Wrap Up For The Week: Weekly Turnover Dips 30%

KEY POINTS
The 91-day and 182-day rose by 1 bp each wow to close at 9.139 and 9.691 percent, respectively, while the 364-day t-bill yield rose by 14 bps wow to close at 10.109 percent.

Weekly equity turnover fell by 30.4 percent wow to USD 9.16 MN (KES 1.11 BN). At the same time, NSE 20 dropped by 0.3 percent and 0.7 percent wow to close at 1,675.66 and 127.55, respectively.
Foreign investors assumed a net selling position by accounting for 67.9 percent of total market purchases and 76.2 percent of total market sales.

Weekly bond turnover fell by 54.5 percent wow to close at USD 68.83 MN (KES 8.36 BN).
