A unique music, art, and culture festival is returning to Dubai this weekend

Expect DJs, performers, dance, yoga, workshops and art sessions…

After a two-year hiatus, Kaynouna returns to Dubai this weekend taking place on Saturday, October 29 at The Secret Garden, Jumeirah Creek Hotel.

What is Kaynouna? Well, it’s a conscious festival that translates to ‘existence’ in Arabic philosophy and is a unique music, arts and culture festival. Guests can expect an amazing line-up of DJs, performers, dance, yoga, workshops and art sessions. Organizers of the event say it has been curated to provide festivalgoers with an impactful experience.

Tickets for the event cost Dhs320 and can be purchased here. Everyone is welcome (including children and pets) from 1pm until 7pm and the experience continues until 3am for the adults.

It takes place in the serene natural surroundings of the hotel’s Secret Garden. There are two stages, The Garden and Lakeside and activations and workshops will be spread across the festival grounds.

At the Garden Stage, expect a dance and sound healing journey followed by international headliners including Berlin-based DJ Britta Arnord; fellow Berliner, electronic music artist Caleesi; Italian DJ duo Marvin & Guy; psychedelic and progressive rock and electronic music pair Pandhora; and Beirut native but UAE-based artist Off Kourse.

On the Lakeside Stage, a host of up-and-coming and local talent will perform from 2pm until late into the night. It will begin with relaxing and melodic tunes of the oud, Cajon, handpan, violin, and more, and will slowly transition to ethnic-downtempo and afro house.

Take a break from the music and have a go at the festival’s activations, including a wood painting workshop, calligraphy & body painting, a tie-dye workshop hosted by Loud mood, FloArt, glitter and braiding. You will also be able to relax with various forms of yoga.

Nawar Akawi, co-founder of Kaynouna stated ‘The aim of Kaynouna is to give something back to our festival community. It is more than just a great day and night out in Dubai, it is a moment to connect with yourself, loved ones and the wider community.’
