/ The death has occurred of Margaret Smyth (née Ruddy)

Santry and formerly Ardee, Co. Louth, November 7 2020. Suddenly, in the care of Gormanston Wood Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, and Mam of Elizabeth and Thomas. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughter and son, sisters Irene and Mary and late brother Tom-Joe, grandchildren Tadhg, Róisín, Sinéad and Ruadhan, Daniel, Olivia and Matthew, son-in-law John and daughter-in-law Sylvia, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends and neighbours.

Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral service will take place. To those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave your condolences in the Book here.

/ The death has occurred of Bernie O’Gara (née O’Gara)

Late of Moorehall Lodge, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Rossnowlagh, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. November 9 2020. Peacefully at Moorehall Lodge. Bernie, beloved wife of the late John Fanning and Michael O’Gara, her twin brother Aodh and sister Sheila. Sadly missed by her loving family Cara, Fergal, Orlagh and Bernard, sons-in-law Ronan and Anis, daughter-in-law Sigal, grandchildren Max, Alex, Yoni, Shoam and Yogev, sister Deirdre, nephews, nieces, step-children, relatives and friends.

In keeping with current Government guidelines regarding public gatherings Bernie’s Funeral will be private for extended family only in Star of The Sea Church, Mornington on Thursday November 12 at 11am, with burial afterwards in Deans Grange Cemetery, Dublin arriving at approximately 1.30pm.

Ballsgrove, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Limerick. November 9 2020. Margaret (Mickie), predeceased by her husband Gerry and mother Josephine (Jo). Sadly missed by her loving family David, Ailish, Michael, Joanne, Conor and Gareth, sons and daughters in-law, Marie, Gerard, Kate, Tasso, Jillian and Emma, close relatives Anne, Vin and Lisa, grandchildren Stephen, Andrea, Mark, Niall, Andreas, Ellen, Antonia, Ciaran, Cian, Anna, Moya, Cormac, Euan and Maebh, great-grandchildren, Aaron, Jake, Charlie, Amelia, Molly, Cody and Alayah, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

In keeping with current Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Margaret’s funeral will be privately for immediate family only. Funeral will be streamed live here on Wednesday at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Rathneety, Knockbridge, Co Louth, tragically, November 5 2020. Darren, much loved son of Noel and Irene and dear brother of Marie and Ciara. Darren will be sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, sisters, brother-in-law Emmett, uncles, aunts, relatives and many friends.

Due to Government guidelines of a limit of 25 family in the church and cemetery, Darren’s Funeral will take place privately in St. Mary’s Church, Knockbridge, at 12 noon on Wednesday and can be viewed here.

College Rise, Drogheda, Co. Louth, November 9 2020. Peacefully, at The Louth County Hospital. Barbara, predeceased by her daughter Geraldine. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Joseph (Joe), her children Barbara, Kevin and Joanne, son-in-law Ivan, daughter-in-law Mayumi, granddaughters Louise, Laurajane, Katie, Anna and Yuki, grandsons Martin and Jamie, great-grandchildren, Georgia, AJ, Calleb and Cianan, brother Raphael and sister Jacinta, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
