A lorry broke down outside of Ulster Bank’s Ardee branch on Irish Street, causing traffic disruption on a Friday afternoon.
The lorry came to a halt on Irish Street and was obstructing one half of the busy section of road for over two hours, during peak lunchtime trade.

Gardai were on the scene at Irish Street diverting traffic presently, while another team managed traffic flow at the south of the town.
The breakdown was cleared shortly after 2pm – according to AA Roadwatch – with traffic flow returning to normal.
