Blood donors across Louth are being urged to give blood with a number of new donation clinic dates announced for March, including across four days in Drogheda next week.
Clinics will be held at St Mary’s Primary School in Bryanstown Drogheda from Monday March 9 to Thursday March 12, between 5pm and 8.30pm each evening.
Further clinics will also be held at St Oliver’s Ballymakenny Road, Drogheda on Wednesday March 19 and Thursday March 19. These will also be between 5pm and 8.30pm.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service Mobile Unit will also be in Dundalk Monday March 30 to Thursday April 2. Clinics will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Monday and Tuesday and then at Clan na Gael GFC on Wednesday and Thursday.
The clinics will run from 4.30pm to 8pm daily.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service asks anyone aged between 18 and 6, over 50kg in weight and who has not donated blood in the 90 days prior to the clinic to make an effort to donate blood.
