Cannabis worth €25,000 was seized during two searches of properties in Drogheda on Wednesday – with two men arrested by Gardai.
Officers from the Drogheda Community Action Team, assisted by the Drugs and Organised Crime Unit, conducted searches at two properties in Drogheda yesterday. In the course of those searches, cannabis (pending analysis) with an estimated street value of €25,000 was recovered by officers.
Two males, one aged in his 50s and one in his 30s, were arrested and are due to appear before Dundalk District Court this morning, Thursday February 27 2020.
The arrests follow two other arrests made 24 hours earlier in the Drogheda area in which cannabis worth an estimated €6,000 was seized. Two men, aged in their 30s and 20s, were arrested.
