One man remains in custody in Keane Mulready-Woods murder probe

Gardai say one of the two men arrested last Thursday in relation to the murder of Drogheda teenager Keane Mulready-Woods has been released from custody – while the other remains detained at Drogheda Garda Station.

Two men were arrested last Thursday morning and brought to Balbriggan and Drogheda stations. The male brought to Balbriggan Garda Station has now been released without charge. A file will now be prepared and forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The second male remains in custody at Drogheda Garda Station under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
