Ardee at risk of supply disruption this Thursday, say Irish Water

Irish Water have begun essential works in Drogheda.

Residents in Ardee town may be without water for the majority of the day on Thursday (November 8th) due to repairs.

Irish Water and Louth County Council say that due to essential repairs on the Sliabh Breagh reservoir truck water main and connection to the rising main there will be disruption to the supply between 8am and 6pm.


The disruption may affect homeowners and business in the Ardee town, Pepperstown and Mullanstown areas.

A traffic management system will be in place on Thursday for te duration of the works, with the maintenance repairs due to be complete by 6pm. Upon completion, Irish Water and the local authority advise that it will take a number of hours for a normal water supply to be fully restored to impacted customers.
