Mary Duff returns to Ardee this December for what is set to be another very memorable Christmas Concert in aid of the Ardee & Collon parish – and once again she’s bringing along some friends for an evening of song and entertainment.
Duff, who is based just over the border in Co. Meath, regularly performs with Daniel O’Donnell and this year her schedule is no different. She is set to embark on a seven date UK tour with O’Donnell next month before returning home and performing for the second straight year at the Church of The Nativity of Our Lady in Ardee.
In 2016, Duff released her 23rd career solo album Changing Lanes.
Joining Duff for the concert – on Thursday December 21st at 8pm – will be country singer Matt Leavy and local performer Ruth Kelly-Brady.
Tickets for the show cost €20 and are available from the Parish Office, Ardee Parish Centre, the Sacristy and all Parish Pastoral Council members. You can also call the Parish office on 041 685 0920.
Kelly-Brady is a very popular local performer and soprano, who also runs The Ardee School of Music. She regularly performs at local events, both solo and with her children’s choir.
Last year, Duff was joined by The X-Factor and The Voice of Ireland stars Mary Byrne and Nigel Connell for the well attended and successful show in the church.
Additionally, the Platinum award winning Ardee Concert Band will hold their 36th Annual Concert on Friday December 8th at 8pm at the Bohemian Centre in the town. Doors open on the night at 7.30pm and tickets are now available from all band members and committee members.
Tickets cost €10 for an adult and €7 for a child. Tickets will also be available to buy on the night.
