There’s just a week to go until the return of Ardee St Marys second annual Halloween spook-tacular at Luna Nightclub – so if you haven’t got your tickets for Nightmare on Tierney Street yet, what are you waiting for? Do it now!

Following on from the huge success of last year’s Nightmare on John Street, held at the old St Marys church in Ardee, the local GAA are once again holding a Halloween Ball, this time taking place at Luna Nightclub in the centre of town.

Last year’s Best Dressed winner was Robert Callaghan who beat off fierce competition and took home the prize for his ‘One Night Stand’ costume, pictured below. But this time, there’s even more reason to make an effort to dress up – with three different prizes up for grabs for Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Couple.

Robert Callaghan was last year’s best dressed person at Nightmare in John Street. Can anyone beat this in 2017?

There’ll be over €1,200 worth of prizes given away – including three different stays in four star hotels for each winners.

Doors on the night will open at 9pm, with tickets costing €15. Tickets are currently on sale, available from Callaghan’s Butchers (Market Street), Sizzlers (Castle Street), O’Brien’s Stationery (Irish Street), Paul Sharkey Menswear (Castle Street) or from any committee members.

If you are dressing up – and you’re advised to! – be sure to bring your dancing shoes, as there’ll be tunes from the 80s, 90s and now belted out on the night which will surely get the dancefloor filled up.
