Gardai in Ardee were called to an incident in Shanlis in the early hours after a petrol bomb attack on a residential property in the area.
The incident occurred at around 2am on Tuesday morning. ThisIsArdee.ie understands two items were thrown at the house – but neither ignited. No one was injured in the attack, with very minor damage caused to the property.
No units of the fire service were required to be called. According to LMFM, the scene has been preserved for technical examination.
This comes almost six weeks to the day since another petrol bomb attack in Shanlis. In that instance, a petrol bomb was thrown at a property, with all occupants of the house removed safety.
