The September draw for the Ardee Credit Union Members Car Draw took place on Saturday morning at the Credit Union branch in the town – and Jason McDonnell of Mullacloe is this month’s lucky winner.

Jason’s name was drawn out at the branch Credit Union offices in Ardee and he is now the proud owner of a brand new Seat Toledo car, supplied courtesy of Conachy’s Garage in Dunleer.

Jason called into the Ardee branch on Church Hill in the town on Wednesday afternoon to collect his prize from branch manager Niall Lambert and he was delighted with her surprise win.

His win follows previous winner Barbara Sampson of De La Salle Crescent and Belinda Clarke of Sliabh Breagh who won the car in the July’s draw of the popular members initiative. Jason’s win brings to an end four straight months of ladies being picked out of the draw – so maybe the men will now have a lucky streak.

This month’s prize of a Seat Toledo is the 105th car be to be given away by the Credit Union in the monthly car draws. Coming up on September 23rd, the Credit Union will hold their next draw – with multiple cash prizes also on offer in a special bonus draw a week later (September 30th).

Each month, the Ardee Credit Union Members Car Draw gives members the chance to win a new vehicle to drive away in. Since the competition began ten years ago – in 2006 – Ardee Credit Union itself has given away over €1.5 million in prizes, including the 105 cars and over €65,000 in additional cash prizes.

Any adult member of the Credit Union can enter the monthly draw. All they have to do is become a car draw member, at a cost of €60 for the full year beginning in October of each year.

The draw is completely funded through car draw membership fees. To become a car draw member, just call into the branch and fill in an application form today.
