Jim Tenanty has asked Louth County County to consider installing walking distance measures in the Fair Green so people can track how much they’ve walked or run.

The walking track that follows the perimeter of the park at the Fair Green is popular amongst walkers and runners in Ardee – especially in the summer months. And Tenanty has suggested that that installing measures will help people keep track of the distances they are completing.

Council engineer Sean O’Reilly confirmed that the local authority were hoping to do something similar at the Railway Walk, another popular location for walkers.
