Ardee Garda Station will be open at various times to the public today (Thursday May 25th) as well as Friday and Saturday for passport renewal and other form signing and witnessing.
The Gardai have confirmed to ThisIsArdee.ie that an officer will be present and available to members of the public today (Thursday) between 9am and 2pm and then from 3pm to 4.30pm and finally between 9pm and 10pm this evening for signing and stamping of forms and other general information.
The station will be open for the same abive hours on Friday and will be open again on Saturday between 10am and 2pm and 3pm and 5pm.
Access to Ardee Garda Station has for a long time been an issue for locals who wish to complete their passport applications – with no set opening times available for people to attend and get this necessary task over and done with.
Last month, Superintendent Fergus Treanor told the the Joint Policing Committee that producing an opening hours schedule for the station would be looked at.
Back in March, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced a new online portal for renewing passports. It’s available by clicking here.
