
Fire crews from Ardee were among those in attendance yesterday evening as a fire destroyed the premises of All-Seasons Lawnmowers in Cookstown in Ardee.
Emergency crews were called shortly after 6.15pm on Thursday to attend the blaze that was engulfing the premises at Cookstown, just off the N2 outside of Ardee.

Engines from Dunleer and Dundalk also attended the industrial fire at Mountrush. The fire completely destroyed the industrial unit, quickly spreading to the whole building. As well as the three units of the fire service, a water carrier and an ALP (Aerial Ladder Platform).
Writing on Facebook, owner Dermot Murray said yesterday was “one of the hardest days of my 14 years in the business.
“Our premises went on fire this evening and has been completely destroyed. We will be contactable for the next few days by mobile phone only – 0879917316. We will sort out all arising issues in the coming days . Thanks for all who helped us this evening . Will update more in coming days,” he wrote.
