Emergency services attend Ardee crash

A unit from Ardee Fire Service along with paramedics and Ardee Gardai attended a the scene of a one vehicle collision just outside the Ardee St Marys GAA ground earlier this morning.

The incident happened at 10am when a car travelling northbound towards the town collided with a tree just past the GAA ground.


Ardee Gardai were soon on the scene, quickly followed by the members of the Ardee Fire Service and the Ambulance Service.

The female occupant of the car, who Ian in her 70s, escaped without suffering serious injury in the collision and was treated at the scene for shock.
