Adult Learners desk to open in Ardee Library

This coming Thursday, an information desk will be open at Ardee Library for any adults looking to get back into education.

Louth Adult Guidance, as part of AONTAS Adult Learners Festival, will be available at the desk to speak to any adults who would like to or have been comtemplating a return to education.

The desk will be open to 10.30am to 12.30pm. A similar opportunity will be available to people in Dundalk on Wednesday from 9.30am to 11.30am at the Louth Adult Education and Guidance Information Service office in Colaiste Chu Chulainn.

The AONTAS Adult Learners Festival takes place from March 6th to March 10th with events and sessions being held across the country. The theme for the week is ‘The Power and Joy of Learning’.

The Adult Learners’ Festival is a nationwide celebration of adult learning coordinated by AONTAS, the National Adult Learning Organisation. Over the past decade, the festival has become a firm fixture on the adult learning calendar with events taking place nationwide, including information sessions, taster workshops, sample lectures to small gatherings of people who love to learn.
