Trees and hedges in De La Salle Crescent and Lamb’s Terrace will hopefully be trimmed and cut soon – after councillor Jim Tenanty again raised the issue at the most recent meeting of the Ardee Municipal District committee.
The councillor once again raised the problems with council officials after previous requests were not acted upon. “We’re getting to the time where they can’t be cut,” he said.
“I seem to be bringing up the Lamb’s Terrace issue every month. There’s hedges and branches coming out scraping cars driving by,” he continued.
The tree cutting and hedge cutting will now be scheduled by the council’s operations department.
