Registration open to join Ardee Cycling Club

Looking to get on your bike in 2017? Well you can, as this week Ardee Cycling Club are holding a registration evening for all those who would like to link up with the club for the next year.

The night will take place at the Irish Wheelchair Association building at John Street Business Park this Wednesday night between 7pm and 8pm. Anyone that would like to join the club and cycle at any level with the club in 2017 is encouraged to come along and register for insurance with Cycling Ireland.

The annual Ardee Cycling Club subscription cost is €15 for all members, which is on top of Cycling Ireland license costs. If you are looking to join with a leisure membership – this is the non-competition license for cyclists – it will cost €35 for a new member and €40 for returning members.

There are two types of competition licenses available to new and current members. The Limited Competition Licence is for anyone looking to compete in local summer leagues such as Ardee, Dundalk and Donore and that costs €70.

The full competition licence is for anyone looking to take part in open racing (A4, A3, A2, A1 categories etc..). This wil cost €125 for the year.

All members’ membership and insurance ends on December 31st 2017and not 12 months from the date of purchase. There will also be a 2017 club gear fitting at the registration evening – so all members are asked to attend be be fitted by the supplier who will be attendance. Orders will then be taken on the night.
